So geht's

Preparation

  1. Place a large ice cube or several fresh ice cubes into a heavy rocks glass.

Build the Drink

  1. Pour 50ml blended Scotch whisky directly over the ice.
  2. Add 25ml Drambuie.

Stir & Finish

  1. Stir gently with a barspoon for about 20 to 30 seconds until thoroughly chilled and lightly diluted.
  2. Express the oils from the lemon peel over the surface of the drink, rub it along the rim, and tuck it neatly into the glass.

Alkoholfrei machen

Replace the Scotch whisky with 50ml of a smoky non-alcoholic malt spirit (such as Lyre's Highland Malt) and swap the Drambuie for 25ml of honey syrup (2:1 honey to warm water) infused with a pinch of ground clove, grated nutmeg, and a drop of herbal bitters.
