So geht's
1. Chill and Prep
- Fill your highball glass generously with fresh ice cubes to chill it down.
- Squeeze the lemon juice and set aside.
2. Shake the Base
- Add the 50ml gin, 25ml fresh lemon juice, and 15ml sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker (or a secure jam jar).
- Drop in a handful of ice, seal tightly, and shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds until the shaker frost lightly on the outside.
3. Pour and Fizz
- Strain the shaken liquid into your prepared highball glass over the ice.
- Gently top with 100ml chilled club soda, pouring close to the surface to keep the effervescence intact. Give it one slow lift with a spoon to combine.
Garnitur
Slide a thin, fresh lemon wheel down the inside of the glass or perch a fragrant lemon twist on the rim.
Alkoholfrei machen
Swap the 50ml gin for 50ml of a botanical non-alcoholic spirit (such as Seedlip Grove or Tanqueray 0.0), or use 50ml chilled light tonic water in place of the spirit for a sharp citrus cooler.
