Was dich erwartet
A heartwarming yet poignant Southern comedy-drama moving at an unhurried, reflective pace. It weaves between a cozy 1980s nursing-home friendship and a dramatic 1920s–1930s flashback narrative dealing with domestic abuse, racism, illness, and grief, balanced by uplifting moments of personal liberation and sisterhood.
