How to make it
Build
- Fill a tall highball glass completely with fresh ice cubes.
- Pour 60ml bourbon whiskey and 10ml fresh lime juice directly over the ice.
- Top up with 100ml cold tonic water.
Finish
- Give the drink a single, gentle stir from the bottom up to combine without losing the fizz.
- Slide an orange wheel down the inside of the glass to garnish.
Garnish
An orange wheel slotted against the inside of the glass and an optional lime wedge on the rim.
Make it alcohol-free
Replace the bourbon with 60ml of a non-alcoholic American malt or dark spirit alternative (such as Lyre's American Malt).
