How to make it
1. Chill the Glass
Fill your martini glass with ice and cold water, then set it aside to chill while preparing the drink.
2. Stir the Drink
Fill a mixing glass with plenty of ice. Pour in 60ml of London Dry Gin and 10ml of Dry Vermouth.
3. Chill and Dilute
Stir the ingredients rapidly with a long spoon for about 30 seconds until the mixing glass is frosty to the touch.
4. Strain and Garnish
Discard the ice and water from your serving glass. Strain the cold cocktail into the chilled glass and finish with the garnish.
Garnish
A single green olive on a cocktail pick.
Make it alcohol-free
Replace the gin with 60ml of a non-alcoholic botanical spirit (such as Seedlip Garden 108 or Lyre's Dry London Spirit) and swap the dry vermouth for 10ml of a non-alcoholic dry vermouth alternative (such as Lyre's Aperitif Dry).
