How to make it
Prep the Glass
- Place your champagne flute in the freezer for 5 minutes to get it frosty.
Shake the Base
- Add the gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice, seal it tightly, and shake vigorously for 10 to 12 seconds until the shaker is ice-cold to the touch.
Strain and Sparkle
- Strain the liquid into your chilled flute.
- Slowly top up the glass with your chilled Champagne, letting the bubbles settle naturally.
Garnish
- Twist the lemon peel over the glass to release its citrus oils, then drop it in.
Garnish
A long, elegant spiral of lemon peel.
Make it alcohol-free
Replace the gin with a non-alcoholic botanical spirit such as Damrak Virgin 0.0 or Seedlip, and swap the Champagne for a dry alcohol-free sparkling wine.
