How to make it

1. Prepare the Aromatics

  1. Peel and thinly slice 15g of fresh ginger root into coins.
  2. Lightly clap 6 fresh mint leaves between your palms to release their essential oils.

2. Steep

  1. Place the sliced ginger and mint leaves into your glass mug or heatproof vessel.
  2. Pour 250ml of freshly boiled water directly over the herbs and ginger.
  3. Cover the mug with a small saucer and allow it to steep for 5 to 7 minutes to draw out the warmth and aromatics.

3. Sweeten and Finish

  1. Stir in 15ml of fresh lemon juice and 15ml of honey until completely dissolved.
  2. Leave the ginger slices in the mug or strain them out, according to your preference.
  3. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and serve immediately.
