How to make it
1. Prepare the Base
- Add the sugar syrup, Angostura bitters, and orange bitters directly into a rocks glass.
2. Stir and Chill
- Pour in the vodka and drop in a single large ice cube.
- Stir steadily with a barspoon for about 30 seconds to chill, integrate the bitters, and achieve the right dilution.
3. Finish
- Express the oils from the fresh orange peel over the top of the glass, rub the rim gently, and drop the peel into the drink.

Make it alcohol-free
Swap the vodka for 60ml of a non-alcoholic botanical spirit (such as Seedlip Spice 94 or CleanCo V) and use alcohol-free aromatic bitters.
