Prepare the Base
- Drop the cucumber slices and fresh mint leaves into the bottom of a highball glass.
- Add the simple syrup and fresh lime juice, then press gently with a muddler or wooden spoon handle to release the aromas without tearing the mint leaves.
Build and Serve
- Pour in the gin and fill the glass right to the top with fresh ice cubes.
- Top with sparkling water and give it a gentle, brief stir from the bottom up to integrate the flavors without losing the carbonation.
Decoración
A thinly sliced cucumber ribbon pressed against the inner wall of the glass and a spapped, fresh mint sprig tucked on top.
