Comment le préparer
1. Chill the Glass
- Fill your rocks glass with a handful of fresh ice to chill down the vessel.
2. Build the Drink
- Pour 30ml of gin and 30ml of sweet vermouth directly over the ice.
- Gently top with 60ml of club soda to give it a refreshing, summery lift.
- Take a bar spoon (or any clean long spoon) and lift gently from the bottom once or twice to combine the ingredients without knocking out the carbonation.
3. Express and Serve
- Twist the orange peel over the surface of the drink to express its fragrant oils, then tuck it into the glass.
Décoration
A wide strip of fresh orange peel, expressed over the top to release aromatic citrus oils and dropped into the glass.
En version sans alcool
Swap the gin for 30ml of an alcohol-free botanical spirit (such as Seedlip Spice 94 or Tanqueray 0.0%) and replace the sweet vermouth with 30ml of a non-alcoholic red aperitif (such as Lyre's Aperitif Rosso or Roots Divino Rosso). Keep the soda and orange twist as written.
