Comment le préparer
1. Prep the Glass
- Fill your highball glass completely to the rim with solid ice cubes to keep the drink crisp and slow down dilution.
2. Build the Drink
- Pour 30ml of London dry gin directly over the ice.
- Add 30ml of dry vermouth.
- Top up with 120ml of chilled tonic water, pouring gently down the side to preserve the effervescence.
3. Mix and Garnish
- Give it one slow, gentle lift with a barspoon (or butter knife) to marry the spirits and tonic without knocking out the carbonation.
- Tuck the lime wheel along the side of the glass.
- Slap the sprig of rosemary between your palms to wake up its aromatic oils, then nestle it upright into the ice.
Décoration
A fresh lime wheel and a lightly bruised rosemary sprig.
En version sans alcool
Replace the gin with 30ml of a distilled non-alcoholic botanical spirit (such as Seedlip Spice 94 or Tanqueray 0.0) and swap the vermouth for 30ml of a non-alcoholic white aperitif (like Roots Divino Bianco or Lyre's Aperitif Dry).
