Prepare the Glass

  1. Wipe a lime wedge around the rim of your highball glass, then press the rim gently into a small dish of salt to coat it.
  2. Fill the glass to the brim with fresh ice cubes.

Assemble the Drink

  1. Pour the tequila and fresh lime juice directly over the ice.
  2. Add a tiny pinch of salt into the glass.
  3. Top up with the pink grapefruit soda and give it a quick, gentle stir with a spoon to combine the ingredients.

Finish

  1. Slide a slice of pink grapefruit into the glass and serve immediately.

En version sans alcool

Replace the blanco tequila with 50ml of a non-alcoholic agave alternative, such as Fluère Smoked Agave or Lyre's Agave Blanco.
