Comment le préparer

Stir the cocktail

  1. Add the mezcal, Cynar, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters directly into a mixing glass or tumbler.
  2. Fill with ice and stir steadily for about 25 to 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.

Serve

  1. Place a large ice cube into a chilled rocks glass.
  2. Strain the stirred drink over the ice.
  3. Express the oils from the orange peel over the surface of the drink and drop it in.

En version sans alcool

Swap the mezcal for 45ml of a non-alcoholic smoky agave spirit, replace the Cynar with 30ml of an alcohol-free bitter aperitif (such as Dr. ZeroZero Amarico or The Bitter Note), and use 15ml of alcohol-free sweet red vermouth.
