Warm the Glass

  1. Rinse a heatproof glass mug with hot tap water to preheat it, then discard the water.

Assemble the Drink

  1. Pour the hot black tea and white verjus directly into the warm mug.
  2. Add the honey and stir briskly with a barspoon until completely dissolved.

Garnish and Serve

  1. Drop in the cinnamon stick and float the orange wheel on top. Serve immediately while warm.
