Comment le préparer

1. Chill the Glass

  1. Place a coupe glass in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.

2. Stir the Cocktail

  1. Fill a mixing glass with fresh ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the London Dry gin, Calvados, Bénédictine, Yellow Chartreuse, and Angostura bitters.
  3. Stir smoothly with a barspoon for about 20 to 30 seconds until thoroughly chilled and properly diluted.

3. Strain and Serve

  1. Discard any chilling ice from the coupe.
  2. Strain the stirred liquid cleanly into the chilled glass.
  3. Drop a Maraschino cherry into the center to garnish.

1 Maraschino cherry dropped into the glass.

En version sans alcool

Replace the gin with a botanical non-alcoholic spirit (such as Seedlip Spice 94), swap the Calvados for cloudy apple juice or an alcohol-free apple aperitif, replace Bénédictine and Yellow Chartreuse with spiced herbal tea concentrate sweetened with honey syrup, and use non-alcoholic aromatic bitters.
