Méthode
1. Mix the Base
- In a medium mixing bowl or a 500ml glass jar, add the milk, vanilla extract, honey (or maple syrup), and a tiny pinch of salt.
- Whisk thoroughly until the sweetener is completely dissolved into the milk.
- Add the chia seeds to the liquid and whisk vigorously for about 1 minute so the seeds disperse evenly without clumping at the bottom.
2. Rest and Re-whisk
- Let the mixture sit on the counter for 5 to 10 minutes. The seeds will begin to settle and start absorbing the liquid.
- Give everything another thorough stir or whisk to break up any pockets of seeds and ensure a smooth, uniform texture.
3. Chill to Set
- Cover the bowl or screw the lid onto the jar.
- Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight, until the pudding is thick, creamy, and spoonable.
4. Assemble and Serve
- Give the pudding a quick final stir to check the consistency. If it feels too thick, stir in an extra splash of milk.
- Divide between serving glasses or bowls.
- Top generously with fresh berries and an optional light drizzle of extra honey right before serving.
