Elderflower Gin Spritz

45ml dry gin
25ml St-Germain elderflower liqueur
60ml chilled prosecco

40ml chilled sparkling water
Handful of fresh ice cubes
1 thin cucumber ribbon
1 fresh mint sprig

Zo maak je het

1. Prep the glass

Fill a large wine glass generously with fresh ice cubes.

2. Build the drink

Pour the dry gin, elderflower liqueur, and fresh lemon juice over the ice.
Top with chilled prosecco and sparkling water.
Give the drink a gentle, brief stir from the bottom up to combine without losing the carbonation.

3. Garnish and serve

Tuck the cucumber ribbon along the inner side of the glass.
Clap the mint sprig between your palms to release its aromatic oils, then place it neatly on top next to the ice.

Garnering

A long cucumber ribbon tucked into the glass and a lightly slapped fresh mint sprig.

Maak het alcoholvrij

Replace the gin with a non-alcoholic botanical spirit (such as Seedlip or Gordon's 0.0), swap the elderflower liqueur for elderflower cordial (vlierbloesemsiroop), and substitute the prosecco with alcohol-free sparkling white wine.
