60ml plain Korean soju
30ml coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)

30ml freshly brewed espresso (or strong moka pot coffee, cooled)
10ml simple syrup (or maple syrup)
1 cup ice cubes (for shaking)
3 whole coffee beans

Como se faz

Preparation

Pull a fresh shot of espresso and let it sit for a minute to take off the heat.
Fill a cocktail shaker or sealable glass jar with ice cubes.

Mix & Shake

Pour the soju, coffee liqueur, espresso, and simple syrup over the ice.
Seal tightly and shake vigorously for 15 seconds to create a silky, dense foam.

Serve

Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish immediately.

Decoração

Float 3 whole coffee beans on top of the dense foam.

Versão sem álcool

Replace the soju with 60ml non-alcoholic distilled spirit or cold water, and swap the coffee liqueur for 30ml non-alcoholic coffee syrup or spirit alternative (such as Lyre's Coffee Originale).
